Our school curriculum should inculcate field trips as a part of their curriculum. We give ample importance to that and thus organize field trips after regular intervals. These field trips benefit the students by making them come across several new things. Field trips also help in improving children’s social and interactive skills. Taking part in field trips is one of the best ways to make learning fun for children outside the classroom. It also helps in allowing them to learn, absorb and experience things practically. Our students of grades 3 – 5 visited the Birla Planetarium and Science Museum. It was a worth while experience for them spending time outside classrooms with friends and learning as well. Students of grades 6 – 8 went on a short trek to Golconda Fort learning about the rich heritage and history behind the fort and the city.
